Announcing the Incubate Miami Fall 2012 Program!

The Incubate Miami program has been a resounding success so far. A total of 16 startups have graduated and have collectively raised over $2.5 million dollars in funding. The good news is that Incubate Miami is about to get a lot more interesting.

We are pleased to announce that we are now recruiting for the first ever FUNDED Incubate Miami Class which will begin in Fall of 2012!

We are currently in the process of creating the first Incubate Miami Fund where we seek to raise capital in order to seed the businesses that are accepted into the program. The goal is to fund 10 companies with up to $20,000 each in exchange for a 10% equity. We are looking to start the first class in September with demo day occurring in early December.

We need your help to ensure that the startups are provided with strong leadership, unparalleled mentorship and much needed seed funding via access to South Florida’s leading venture capitalists and angel investors. To this end, we are reaching out to our network as we are looking for help in engaging with four groups of people: startupsmentorssponsors and investors.

Startups: We are looking to recruit high-growth technology-oriented companies. If you or someone you know is in the process of developing a compelling technology business, let us know by filling out our online application found here.

Mentors: Part of what makes the Incubate Miami program so beneficial to startups is our esteemed mentor network. Mentors are experienced individuals whom selflessly donate their time in order to guide these startups to success. If you are interested in joining our network of world-class mentors, let us know.

Sponsors: Sponsors are key in helping us bolster the local startup community. So far, we have had some great organizations help us including the MiamiDDA, Robert Half, Credelis and Miami Dade County. All of whom have gotten world-class press coverage from the likes of ABC News, The Miami Herald, the Sun Sentinel and more. If you own or work for a business that is interested in giving back to the community in a way that will truly make a difference, please email us.

Investors: The Incubate Miami fund offers a great way to invest in the hottest technology startups in South Florida. With early access and a tremendous upside potential, the fund is a compelling way to participate in emerging technologies and trends. Email us if you are interested in learning more.

We look forward to hearing back from you and can’t wait to tell you more about the program in the coming months.
