All requests must be submitted by midnight on June 30th, 2012.
We will ask the companies that we deem most promising to visit our offices during July 16th – 20th. We will reimburse up to $500 per group for travel expenses
We will decide the companies we will fund on July 20th . Those that are accepted into the program will be offered an investment package where we will invest $20,000 in return for 10% of the company.
In addition to the seed capital provided to the startups, there will also be a convertible note worth up to $100,000 available for companies whom we deem appropriate. Not all applying companies may qualify for this additional funding.
If we invest in your company, your entire group is expected to move to Miami between September 3rd and December 14th. After acceptance, we will immediately help you set up your company. As soon as your company exists, we’ll write a check to it for a portion of the investment.
All companies are expected to work out of the Incubate Miami Offices for a majority of the time they spend developing their businesses.
